Optimized for stereo sound with simple connectivity, the blackYamaha R-S201 Stereo Receiverfeatures four stereo RCA inputs, one stereo RCA output for recording to an external device like a CD recorder, and a " headphone output. Its only other connections are the speaker outputs, which will allow you to set up two pairs of speakers in an A/B configuration. This will enable you to have either pair active, or both pairs active at the same time. The receiver outputs up to 100W per channel at 8 Ohms, and includes an AM antenna, an FM antenna, and an IR remote control
Natural Sound Reproduction
The R-S201 Receiver is based on the concept of Natural Sound for reproducing music as it originally sounded.
100W per Channel Output Power, Optimized Circuit Design
Along with two 100W (8 Ohm, 40 Hz to 20 kHz, 0.2% THD) channels, the R-S201 Receiver offers a design that minimizes the length of signal routes and optimizes the circuit layout. Positioning the power transformer near the power amplifier circuit reduces power loss while improving peak power supply capacity to enable high volume output. The signal ground and power supply ground are connected at one point, eliminating mutual interference to achieve a higher S/N ratio. The result is sound with enhanced clarity.
40-Station AM/FM Preset Tuning
You can register a total of up to 40 AM and FM stations, then select the station from either the receiver or the remote control. The Auto Preset feature lets you automatically search for FM stations within range. Frequencies appear on the display, so even when you want to listen to a new station, you can easily tune to its frequency.
Simple Design
The R-S201 Receiver features a simple design, with minimal connections, buttons, and knobs.
Speaker Selector and Speaker Terminals for 2 Systems
Equipped with speaker terminals for 2 systems, this receiver lets you connect 2 pairs of speakers. The speaker selector makes it easy to switch between speaker outputs, allowing you to hear the sound from one speaker system (A or B) or from both (A and B).
Power Saving
A power management function automatically switches to standby mode when the receiver has not been operated for a long time. It can be set to 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours, or can be turned off. In addition, the receiver consumes 0.5W in standby mode, offering energy-saving performance.
